Mental Health

Mental health and well being is essential for every member of the community and is now a priority for service providers. There is increasing recognition of the connection between mental health, employment and the criminal justice system.

The Department of Health published No health without mental health: a cross-Government mental health outcomes strategy for people of all ages which set out six shared objectives to improve the mental health and well-being of the nation, and to improve outcomes for people with mental health problems through high quality services.
