Directory of Aligned Organisations
The directory allows you to see which employing organisations are delivering statutory and mandatory training that is aligned to the Core Skills Training Framework. Once an organisation is confirmed as aligned, the directory is updated to ensure it provides the latest information.
Why align to the Core Skills Training Framework
The Core Skills Training Framework sets out minimum learning outcomes, frequency of refresher training and links to relevant legislation or expert guidance.

It can be used by any healthcare employer in the UK including NHS, independent and voluntary providers.

The use of naming conventions or subject codes enables data to be recognised and shared. A suite of National Competencies derived from the Core Skills Training Framework is available to use for those employers that have access to the NHS Electronic Staff Record (ESR). This means that NHS organisations in England and Wales that have submitted their Core Skills Training Framework Declaration of Alignment can use the National Competencies in the ESR for recording and reporting training activity that is Core Skills Training Framework aligned.
