Rita Symons
Coaching Faculty
Rita was an internal coach and mentor in the NHS for many years and has 15 years of coaching experience.
Rita works with individual organisations and on large scale programmes for the NHS and MoD. She is a member of the national NHS Leadership Academy Faculty and has worked with the NHS Leadership Academy to develop a large-scale programme focussed on Inclusion.
She continues to undertake 1:1 coaching with a range of leaders and clinicians and works with three deaneries to support trainee doctors struggling in training. She is also an Action Learning Set Advisor for the Nye Bevan Programme. Rita works at an individual and team coaching level and has developed a programme of team development, ‘High Performing Teams’.
Rita has developed bespoke CPD for the NHS, Local Authorities, Further Education Institutes, and the Police Service. She acts as an expert advisor for a digital mentoring product focussed on addressing inequity of access. She is working with the HFMA to support and inclusion programme focussed on exploring power, emotional regulation and increasing agency. Rita is a volunteer with the European Coaching and Mentoring Council.
