She is experienced in the delivery of people and change initiatives, workforce planning and development of organisational strategy. A solution and values driven team player, she has a keen willingness to learn and support the development of capabilities across teams and individuals.

“Having considerable experience of working within the public sector I have seen first hand some of the challenges faced by our workforce and understand the critical importance of providing staff with the wide range of skills required to maximise productivity and deliver the best service to the public.

“Policing has given me years of experience in managing problems and developing solutions. This spurred my desire and enthusiasm to drive improvements and support organisations in establishing the best resource they can in their workforce, and develop working models that are fit for purpose now and in the future.

“My public services experience, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and desire to provide the best outcomes to the public are all personal drivers. This naturally attracted me to Skills for Health as an organisation. I was also impressed with the organisational values adopted and the direction and standards they set.

“I consider it a privilege to continue to serve the public in supporting and guiding organisations to better understand and deliver effective workforce planning.”

Tam joins Skills for Justice, part of The Workforce Development Trust group, also incorporating Skills for Health, SFJ Awards and People 1st International. She will be instrumental on delivering workforce interventions that help our clients build a workforce that meets public demand, and responds to the changing justice landscape into the future.
