Relevant training. Real-world challenges. Safer, more inclusive workplaces.

Effective equality, diversity and human rights training needs to reflect the realities of health and care workplaces – where issues of discrimination, inequality, harassment and workplace culture are often interconnected.

Our EDHR eLearning suite brings together essential knowledge and practical learning to help health and care organisations support their legal responsibilities, address discrimination and harassment, and build safer, more inclusive workplaces.

Moving away from treating related subjects in isolation, our refreshed approach connects key concepts and reinforces learning where they overlap, helping staff understand how these issues influence one another and apply their knowledge in practice.

Developed with input from specialists combining healthcare experience, subject expertise and insight into how discrimination and harassment are experienced in practice, the suite uses realistic scenarios to build understanding, judgement and confidence.

Promoting inclusion and preventing discrimination and harassment draw on many of the same principles, behaviours and practical skills. Our updated EDHR portfolio brings these together, exploring how everyday actions and interactions shape workplace culture.

Sexual Harassment Prevention

AVAILABLE NOW

Developed specifically for health and care, this course uses nuanced, realistic scenarios exploring workplace hierarchies, professional influence, lone working, digital communication and inappropriate behaviour from patients, relatives and visitors.

Rather than simply defining unacceptable behaviour, it explores how boundaries are crossed and harmful conduct becomes normalised – helping learners understand context, consider different perspectives and respond appropriately in real-world situations.

Anti-Racism

COMING NOVEMBER 2026

Developed in response to the 2026 Lord Mann review, this course moves beyond general awareness to explore how racism operates in healthcare, including anti-Black racism, antisemitism and anti-Muslim hostility.

Grounded in the realities of healthcare workplaces, learners will examine how assumptions, stereotypes and everyday interactions can reinforce discrimination, building the understanding and confidence to recognise racism, challenge harmful behaviour and respond appropriately.

EDHR: Core Practice

COMING NOVEMBER 2026

Our refreshed EDHR: Core Practice course brings together the foundations of equality, diversity, inclusion and human rights with the realities of health inequalities.

Rather than treating these subjects in isolation, focused learning will connect legal responsibilities, equality monitoring and inclusive practice, helping staff understand how inequalities arise and apply key principles to support fairer, more inclusive healthcare experiences.

Why does EDHR training matter for health and care?

Stronger responsibilities. Greater expectations.

Employment Rights Act 2025: From 30 October 2026, employers in Great Britain must take all reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment. The Act also extends employer liability for harassment by third parties, including patients and visitors, where employers fail to take “all reasonable preventative steps”.

2026 Lord Mann review: Called for urgent improvements to NHS mandatory EDHR training, including quality-assured learning on antisemitism and anti-Muslim hostility.

Expert-informed learning, grounded in healthcare experience

Our EDHR suite has been developed with input from healthcare professionals and subject matter experts who bring specialist knowledge and real-world experience of discrimination, racism and workplace harassment.

Contributors include the Jewish Medical Association UK, providing insight into antisemitism and the experiences of Jewish healthcare professionals and patients; the British Islamic Medical Association, informing learning on anti-Muslim hostility; and Stand Against Racism and Inequality (SARI), contributing expertise in recognising and responding to discrimination and harmful behaviour.

Our Sexual Harassment Prevention course has also benefited from the expert input and review of Bron Biddle (Senior People & Culture Consultant, NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, and National Co-Chair, Workplace Harassment Workstream), whose experience supporting healthcare organisations to address workplace harassment and strengthen organisational culture has helped shape its practical, scenario-based approach.

Unlike learning materials that focus primarily on information transfer, these e-learning modules engage learners with the complexities of sexual harassment, prompt reflection on different perspectives and guide the application of their understanding in practice.
