We work with healthcare organisations to provide the safest, highest standards of patient care. As the Sector Skills Council for Health, and a not-for-profit organisation, we are a trusted partner to healthcare institutions large and small in the NHS, independent and voluntary sectors. Skills for Health is part of the Workforce Development Trust.

Workforce Development Trust

The NSAH promotes excellence, improvement and high quality education and training for the nation’s healthcare support workforce. It does this through its Network of Excellence Centres who provide a local hub for employers and learners to access training.

With a shared objective of transforming the workforce providing health and care services, and particularly with an increasing emphasis on developing an integrated workforce, our collaborative approach is fundamentally important in, our work with employers and education providers and evident through our support to TCPs, STPs and Vanguard sites.

 

Health Education EnglandCOLWe have been collaborating with Health Education England on national agendas since their establishment in 2013. Our collaborations include national projects, such as the Care Certificate, Core Skills Frameworks and the Transforming Care Agenda.
