Supporting autistic people and/or people with a learning disability

Capabilities frameworks describe the skills, knowledge and behaviours which people bring to their work and are used to:

  • support development and planning of the workforce
  • inform the design and delivery of education and training programmes.

Core capabilities frameworks for supporting autistic people and/or people with a learning disability are relevant to those in working in any sector and all staff working across health and social care.
