The Mental Health Core Capability Framework was developed in response to public and voluntary services across Hampshire & Isle of Wight (HIOW) experiencing an unprecedented increase in people experiencing mental health and wellbeing issues following the pandemic.
NHSE aims to support NHS staff to engage in global health activity throughout their careers. A set of resources and materials is being developed which will support NHS staff and organisations to understand, evidence and fully realise the benefits of engagement in global health. The creation of a Global Health Learning Outcomes Framework is a core part of this work.
This framework will support Health Education England to achieve the aims of the ten-point action plan. The Framework provides a standard and greater clarity on the scope of practice for nurses working within primary care and general practice settings.
The framework contains 11 core capabilities, common to the delivery of high-quality, personalised care in the virtual ward and within urgent community response services; 4 capabilities specific to the delivery of care within urgent community response services, and 4 capabilities which relate specifically to the delivery of care within the virtual ward.
