Leading the way in Healthcare Apprenticeships (England)
Skills for Health has long been recognised as a leading authority on Healthcare Apprenticeships. In collaboration with NHS England we managed and curated the national Standards for Healthcare Apprenticeships, with support for employers delivered on HASO (Healthcare Apprenticeship Standards Online). NHS England sponsored the development of Trailblazer Apprenticeships in the Health Sector as part of the Talent for Care ‘Get in, Get on, Go Further’ themes and strategic aims.
Our team played a pivotal role in facilitating the development of apprenticeship standards used across the health sector in England. During its active period, the HASO platform served as a key resource for health sector managers, providing access to a wide range of apprenticeships for training staff in both clinical and non-clinical roles.
Apprenticeships Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland
Our experience in developing and supporting apprenticeships, means we have the expertise to assist you to deliver a seamless healthcare apprenticeship programme. Our team supported the development of health apprenticeship frameworks for use in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. We maintain a range of resources to guide employers and apprentices to relevant information about apprenticeships in healthcare for their region.
