Image: Jill Fraser from Kissing it Better.As the final call for nominations is being made for Our Health Heroes Awards 2019, we’re extremely pleased to announce that long-term supporters of Skills for Health and The Workforce Development Trust, healthcare charity Kissing it Better (KiB) are sponsoring our new category, the Learning and Development Project of The Year Award.

Jill Fraser, CEO of Kissing it Better says: “We are delighted to support the Learning and Development Project of the Year award, it’s a great fit for us. KiB is all about finding creative ways to enhance staff training and development, and improve patient experience.”

KiB is on a mission to end the isolation of old age by bringing the generations together. The charity’s imaginative healthcare projects make an immediate and lasting difference to the lives of frail older people across the country. They also give young people a unique and enriching experience. Their teaching and training programmes make their expertise available to everyone.

The deadline for Our Health Heroes Awards 2019 nominations is midnight THIS Friday 12th July, so please don’t delay and nominate a healthcare team, department or organisation you know who is working tirelessly to improve learning and development in healthcare today!
