The Employability Skills Matrix for Health aims to help staff working in the health sector to identify the personal skills1, qualities, values, attributes and behaviours needed at each career level. This will support staff to access a specific grade of post, sustain effective working in that post and progress to higher level/different posts. 1 It does not include details of the occupational skills and competences required at different levels as these are defined through relevant National Occupational Standards (NOS).
