Healthcare Apprenticeship forum – for Finance, HR and OD professionals

Skills for Health are delighted to be hosting, alongside HFMA and HPMA, a dedicated healthcare apprenticeship event, to provide employers with support in developing successful programmes, utilising levy funding effectively and understanding the new landscape of healthcare apprenticeships in England.

This new event is a fantastic opportunity for Finance Directors/Managers and HR Directors/Managers to learn more about the key benefits in developing successful apprenticeship programmes to support their workforce ambitions, and effectively utilise levy funding, before it’s too late. We are thrilled to be joined by guest speakers Lucy Hunte - Health Education England, and Karen Woodward - Education Skills Funding Agency. Download the full event programme here.

About the event

  • When: Wednesday 11th September
  • Where: Birmingham Council House, Victoria Square, Birmingham, B1 1BB
  • Approximate time: 9.30am – 4pm

This event is tailored for Finance and HR Directors/Managers and is open exclusively to employers within health and social care.

“In order to meet the ambitious improvements, set out within the NHS long-term plan it is essential to develop and upskill the healthcare system’s workforce. The levy provides a fantastic opportunity for your organisation to invest in the development of both existing staff and new recruits, through formal apprenticeship programmes. There are several challenges organisations face in using their levy and HFMA has been working hard to ensure that the healthcare system can make the most of this opportunity. We are pleased to be working alongside HPMA and Skills for Health to bring together professionals from Finance, HR and clinical world, amongst others to give delegates the opportunity to share experiences and learn from each other as we look to harness the benefits available.”Alison Myles, Director of Education - HFMA
