The website also provides information for prospective Apprentices and for training providers. We will maintain these website resources up to date to reflect and changes to qualifications and accreditation frameworks.
Skills for Health has apprenticeship specialists who already work closely with SHA leads. They also support the Independent Sector.

This resource has been developed to support employers delivering Apprenticeships within the health sector. It offers a range of materials that demonstrate effective practice, many of which have been provided by Strategic Health Authorities.
Apprenticeships are a crucial part of today’s workforce. The NHS, CPD Apprenticeship Steering Group (CPDASG), chaired by the Department of Health and with membership drawn from a wide range of stakeholders, including NHS Employers and Trade Union representatives have agreed a Joint Position.
