Management and Leadership (M&L) is one of the key cross cutting themes emerging from Sector Skills Agreements across the Skills for Business Network, reflecting that many employers need support to ensure they have sufficient M&L ability to deploy skills effectively.
- A Skills for Business network programme of activity includes the development of a clear network strategy for M&L skills development, coupled with a number of actionable initiatives that will deliver what employers want and address M&L issues across the various sectors. These initiatives include:

We also work closely with the
Institute of Healthcare Management, a professional organisation for managers throughout healthcare whose focus is improving patient/user care through the promotion of excellence in healthcare management.
