SSA Stage 3 Events Update
Throughout October – December 2005 we ran a series of events to discuss our emerging SSA findings and to explore the actions needed to deliver the Sector Skills Agreement in each region, nation, and across the UK. These events were designed to engage with NHS, Independent, Voluntary employers and partner organisations on the following agenda:
- Sharing the results of our evidence gathering stages and their fit with UK, National/Regional/Local needs and priorities
- Exploration of the ‘scope for collaborative action’
- Exploration of approaches for continued employer engagement to support and realise the SSA in practice, including developing the mechanisms that will ensure employers have increased influence with key partners
