Public Sector SSCs join forces
By working collaboratively, six public sector SSCs are hoping to assist in the delivery of excellence in public services.
Skills for Health, Asset Skills, Government Skills, Lifelong Learning UK, Skills for Care and Skills for Justice have formed an alliance to achieve economies of scale and help encourage a 'joined up' approach across the various public bodies.
Hailed as an important move to further the work of Sector Skills Councils, the partnership's first task will be to develop an action plan to focus on key areas of work such as strategy development, business planning and performance measures.
