Skills for Health has recently commenced the second phase of its Pharmacy Project focussing on the development of a new qualification for Pharmacy Support Staff (Levels 2 & 3).
The qualification will be based on the Support Staff NOS (National Occupational Standards) developed in phase one and new NOS developed in phase two to further support the qualification remit.
Phase two of the Project will also explore with the Sector the need for a new qualification to support GP dispensers.
A Reference Group workshop is taking place at Avonmouth House, London from 10:30 until 15:00 on the 12 December 2007.
This workshop will involve the SfH Reference Group and wider UK Pharmacy & Education stakeholders. The workshop forum will enable delegates to use their knowledge and expertise to provide constructive feedback that will help shape and inform project outputs.
