The new Health Learning and Skills Advice line covers the UK health sector and provides careers information, advice and guidance to support people who work in, or are considering a career in healthcare. You can email or get a call back by visiting the Health Learning and Skills Advice line website . Or you can call them direct on free phone 08000 150 850 to speak to an adviser.

The advisers have lots of knowledge and experience of the UK health sector, advising on careers in health, development, qualifications and specialised aspects such as the Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF). Healthcare is a specialist sector with a wealth of career opportunities. With over 300 different careers available, there are many options to choose from. Alongside careers, there are a range of courses for those wanting to enter the sector. Advice on the right learning and the associated funding can also be found.

Skills for Health, NHS Careers and Learndirect Advice are working in partnership to bring you this new advice line, which will deal with queries relating to working in and developing a career in healthcare.

NHS Careers already provides information on the wide range of careers in the NHS. Learndirect Advice has a national website and helpline service which people can telephone for advice on careers and learning. Skills for Health help the whole sector develop solutions that deliver a skilled and flexible UK workforce in order to improve health and healthcare.
