East Midlands Sector Skills Agreement Consultation event- 3rd April 2008

The Sector Skills Agreement for England (SSA) is a country-wide strategy for transforming the skills of the healthcare workforce in line with healthcare service priorities and patient need. It was informed and influenced by healthcare employers and stakeholders from across the UK.

Building on this Agreement, the East Midlands is set to have its own SSA - ensuring alignment with the region’s healthcare requirements and skills needs.

Skills for Health invites you to attend a dedicated conference to kick-start the consultation process which will underpin the SSA for the East Midlands.

Running from 11.00 am to 3.30 pm on the 3rd April 2008 at the Hilton Hotel Northampton, 100 Watering Lane, Collingtree, Northampton, NN4 0XW ( Junction 15 of the M1 ) the conference will consist of a mix of presentations, workshops and interactive sessions as well as providing a platform to

The conference is relevant to HR professionals in the healthcare sector as well as those with responsibilities for workforce planning, service improvements and clinical placements. Throughout the day delegates will have the opportunity to network with peers and colleagues, together with local health-related education and training providers.
