4th UK Labour Market Intelligence Conference - Glasgow - 22nd February 2008

Skills for Health is pleased to announce that the next UK Labour Market Intelligence (LMI) conference will be held on the 22nd February 2008 at the prestigious Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre, Clydebank, Glasgow.

The day will provide individuals with an opportunity to hear and critique the latest esearch and development in LMI from across the UK health sector and beyond.

The focus of the conference will be on recent LMI research and its application across the health sector.

Confirmed agenda items:

• The UK Health Sector Online LMI Resource - A ‘beta’ version of the resource will be showcased during the conference, with attendees able to gain hands on experience of using the system. The final version of the resource will go live on the Skills for Health website in March 2008.
• UK Wide LMI Research Update - A look at research being undertaken in each of the four UK countries.
• The Skills for Care National Minimum Workforce Dataset- An update on the workforce data being collected across the social care sector.

Previous conferences in Manchester and Belfast have been very successful and this event will build upon them. The event is free to attend, although places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. To book your place please email us with your details.
