Care worker and client.Skills for Health and Skills for Care are pleased to announce that, as part of the Cavendish Review, a series of guidance documents have now been developed to accompany the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers and Adult Social Care Workers. There are three documents available – one for employers, one for support workers and one for the public. The Code of Conduct itself has also been updated following an active consultation with the health sector. This resulted in the scope being broadened to include any healthcare support worker with a patient facing role, no other changes were made to the Code of Conduct. Please see Skills for Health page and the Skills for Care page for more details about this Department of Health sponsored project and to download copies of the documents.
