Using the tools

Before you start, make sure the sound on your computer is working.  It’s also important to make sure that you have paper and pen to hand for both the Literacy and Numeracy and that you jot down notes as you listen to the audio questions in the Literacy Tool.

Finally, remember to complete an assessment (Literacy or Numeracy) in one go – this should take approximately 25 – 30 minutes. If you have to stop part way through, you will have to come back and start again!
