Skills for Justice

Skills for Justice is a not-for-profit organisation committed to the development of an improved and sustainable Justice and Community Safety sector workforce across the UK. The organisation was established in 2004 as the Sector Skills Council for the Justice and Community Safety sector.

We develop tools and services as well as inform policy and standards, focusing on supporting employers in delivering workforce related provision. Intrinsic to what we do is our research department, SfJ Research that works within our footprint gathering vital insight that informs the future work programmes needed for our sectors. They also work in partnership with Higher Education establishments on tendered opportunities.

Our products and service offering is based on our core mission of developing a more skilled, productive and flexible workforce. Our work to promote better jobs, careers and sustainable employment, develop appropriate employer led qualifications and raise standards in skills and training will help you to maximise quality, productivity and sustainability.

Skills for Justice merged with Skills for Health in September 2015 and together we work to create a more integrated, sustainable and efficient workforce across the public sectors.
