Autism: Health and care workforce learning needs survey

National Autistic Society online survey

The National Autistic Society (NAS) is currently carrying out a survey, jointly commissioned by Skills for Care and Skills for Health and funded by the Department of Health. The purpose is to define the learning needs relating to autism for the generic health and social care workforces (not autism specialists).

The first stage of the process is to gather the views of relevant people through this survey. NAS will then collate those ideas and draft a proposal. This draft proposal will then be put out for consultation before the guidance is published.

The survey should take no more that 10 minutes to complete

The people that NAS would like to reach are:

  1. Social care commissioners
  2. Social care providers (employers and managers)
  3. Social care providers (professionals and workers at all levels)
  4. Health service commissioners
  5. Health service providers (employers and managers)
  6. Health service providers (professionals and workers at all levels)
  7. Carers and supporters of people on the autism spectrum
  8. People on the autism spectrum
