Apprenticeship Certification Update for England 11th May 2011

Skills for Health have today received the guidance from the Alliance of Sector Skills Councils with regard to the interim arrangements for Apprenticeship Certification required by the Apprenticeship, Skills, Children and Learning Act (ASCL).

It will take Skills for Health at least three weeks to put in place the changes to processes and documentation in order for Skills for Health to recommence issuing of Apprenticeship Certificates for learners who complete their Apprenticeship on or after 13th April 2011.

Future arrangements for certification of Health and Social Care Apprentices have to be agreed with Skills for Care and Development.

As soon as we are able to confirm the date and the new arrangements for Apprentice Certificates we will post an update.

Please note that arrangements for certification of any Apprentices that completed on or before 12th April remain unchanged.
