Nationally Transferable Roles

Nationally Transferable Roles ensure that individuals within the healthcare workforce have skills and competences that are consistent, applicable to any service and replicable anywhere in the UK.

The benefit employers and employees across the health sector resulting in better, more consistent patient care. Skills for Health has developed templates to help produce nationally transferable roles. Both the East Midland and South West regions are looking to use the methodology in specific projects. Skills for Health in the East Midlands will be starting work in November, with the ambulance service, this work will have national rollout and impact.
