Leading competence based workforce transformation

Workshops providing your key staff with the knowledge, skills and resources to lead competence based workforce transformation.

What are these workshops?

The “Skills Transfer” workshops offer a systematic, tested approach to workforce development and service redesign, combined with practical use of our resources and electronic tools in context.

Delegates will be introduced to a number of tools and techniques to align the talents, skills and knowledge of the current and future workforce. This will help develop the workforce for provider services and support commissioning specifications.

Delegates will be invited to join Skills for Health’s Workforce development learning community, which will offer access to case studies, additional resources and an opportunity to share experiences across a diverse network of those engaged with supporting and/or leading workforce transformation.

Benefits of the workshops:

  • Enables organisational development, education and learning based on patient and service needs
  • Provides a clear process through which to address efficiency and productivity of services
  • Provides transferable and consistent standards across employers
  • Access to workforce transformation learning community.

"The skills transfer event I attended was invaluable. The session provided time to access a wealth of Skills for Health tools and resources that my team and I will use on the ‘front line’ to transform our workforce and deliver on key outcomes such as Quality Innovation Productivity and Prevention (QIPP)."
